ALWAYS A WORK-IN-PROGRESS
About

This site serves as an archive of my work – documented chronologically, honestly, and without too much curation, meant to be read as a body rather than a collection of highlights. The work here spans over a decade of projects, clients, and contexts – all part of my ongoing conversation with design.

BIO

Shannon Lim, *male – is a creative and design director from Singapore with a keen focus on typography and visual systems. His approach is centred on developing intelligent and effective forms of design.

Featured in the likes of AIGA Eye on Design and the International Designers' Network, his early work gained recognition at a young age as part of Singapore's design scene. After several stints at award-winning studios, he founded his own design studio in 2016 before going on to serve as Creative Director at Benjamin Barker Group, where he built and led a full in-house creative department from the ground up – assembling and directing a team of designers, photographers, writers, and producers across a period of significant business expansion, while evolving the brand into the more contemporary form it holds today.

He is currently Design Director at Practice Theory, leading creative work across offices in Singapore and Vietnam. Outside of studio work, he teaches at Temasek Polytechnic's School of Design and is part of the Emerging Designers Collective, an advisory panel to the DesignSingapore Council.
